Abstract:
The webinar will provide insight into the concurrent design process and how collaborative MBSE is used in early phase design of space missions and other complex systems. A short demonstration of COMET will be performed.
Biography:
Sam Gerené has a background in Aerospace Engineering with a masters degree form the TU Delft. He is an expert in collaborative MBSE for early phase design, typically exercised during Concurrent Design. Sam has gained much of his experience while working at the system engineering department of ESA for approximately 11 years where he was responsible for MBSE tooling, CD process development as well as being CDF System Engineer and CDF Team Leader. Next to applying the CDF methodology and MBSE in the space domain, Sam has also applied these methodologies outside of the space domain. Currently, Sam is the CD & MBSE Competence Area lead at RHEA where he coordinates the RHEA MBSE related activities.
