\n<\/strong>\u00a0Jordy Houwen is a consultant at Dutch Boosting Group. He helps organisations set up and deliver complex projects and transformation programmes, particularly when the challenge falls outside their usual way of working. Rather than taking the initial question at face value, Jordy works with organisations to uncover the underlying problem and clarify why a project is needed in the first place. Using systems thinking and Systems Engineering, he connects strategy, organisational development and day-to-day work. He is particularly interested in bringing strategy to life, enabling organisations to continuously assess whether their work contributes to their strategic direction and to respond more effectively to a rapidly changing environment.<\/span>

Abstract.
\n<\/strong>Most organisations have a strategy, but the connection between that strategy and everyday work is often weak. Strategy sits in a document, while work fills calendars, backlogs and meetings. When circumstances change, it becomes difficult to see which activities still matter, what they contribute, and where responsibility crosses organisational boundaries.In this hands-on workshop, participants build that missing connection. Using one shared example, they translate a strategic ambition into a measurable organisational capability and then into work that is clear, owned, verifiable and practical to start. They place that work across the organisation, identify the people and teams that must move with it, and read the resulting chain back upwards to test whether it still supports the original ambition.An LLM joins the exercise as a critical reviewer rather than the author. It helps participants identify gaps, overlaps and untested assumptions, while the participants retain responsibility for the reasoning and decisions.The workshop concludes by bringing the method back to participants\u2019 own work. Each person tests one real activity from their coming week against three practical questions: Which organisational ambition does this serve? What gap will it close? Who else must move before it can succeed?No prior systems engineering knowledge is required. Participants leave with a simple, reusable way to connect strategy, organisational capability and day-to-day work.<\/span>
