Bio Fr\u00e9nk van der Linden
\n<\/strong>Fr\u00e9nk van der Linden is one of the Netherlands’ leading interviewers. Since the 1970s, he has conducted incisive, respectful interviews for newspapers including de Volkskrant, NRC, and NTR. He is a sought-after moderator, debate facilitator, and columnist. With his broad knowledge, humor, and natural authority, he knows how to engage both guests and audiences and keep them on their toes. Fr\u00e9nk has written several books, including “To the Bone” and “How Do You Exist After?” (2024). As a documentary filmmaker, he produced works such as “Verloren Band” (Lost Band) and “Het spoor naar Auschwitz” (The Trail to Auschwitz). He is an ambassador for VillaPinedo and gives masterclasses in journalism. In 2025, he launched a project to combat literacy among young people.<\/p>\n

Bio Roy Besselink
\n<\/strong>Roy Besselink is Head of Engineering at TenneT Large Projects Netherlands, where he leads the technical strategy and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects. With a background in business administration (Nyenrode Business University) and extensive experience in the energy sector, Roy is a driving force behind the transition to modular and standardized construction within TenneT.
\nHe strongly believes in the power of collaboration, standardization, and innovation to accelerate the energy transition while simultaneously ensuring the reliability of the high-voltage grid. Roy is actively involved in developing technical standards and promoting supply chain collaboration, with the aim of realizing projects faster, more sustainably, and more safely.<\/p>\n

Bio Menno Nederveen
\n<\/strong>Menno Nederveen is Manager of the Engineering, Spatial Planning & Law department within the Alliander business unit that designs, builds, and maintains the high-voltage grid for Liander and TenneT (in Liander’s service area). During his time at Alliander, he was involved in the development of standardization and systems engineering. In the coming years, his department will continue to develop Systems Engineering as the next step in the standardization of the Modular Construction program.<\/p>\n

Bio Joost van Gemeren
\n<\/strong>Joost van Gemeren is Head of Engineering & Advisory at Stedin, where he leads strategic initiatives within the high voltage domain (150kV-10kV), with a strong focus on operational technology (OT), cybersecurity, and infrastructure resilience. With a background in engineering and systems integration, Joost plays a pivotal role in translating complex technical challenges into actionable solutions that align with regulatory and societal demands.
\nJoost is known for his ability to bridge engineering depth with strategic foresight, making him a valuable contributor to systems thinking and resilience planning in the energy sector.<\/p>\n

Bio Wouter Leibbrandt<\/strong>
\nWouter is Director for the TNO business segment Digital Systems. Digital Systems researches and innovates systems engineering methodologies to deal with complex cyber-physical systems undergoing a digital transition. The fastest growing program in this segment targets the energy transition. This program will ensure that digitalization of the transitioning energy system is done fast \u00e1nd right, taking into account relevant system aspects such as scalability, resilience, security and future proofness. This is done in close collaboration with all stakeholders across the complete value chain.
\nBefore joining TNO in 2016 Wouter was with NXP Semiconductors for 10 years, and before that at Philips Research for 14 years, where he held several research and innovation management roles.
\nFrom 2004 to 2006 he lived and worked in China, at the Philips Research labs in Shanghai.
\nHe serves in steering and advisory boards to several industrial, government and academic initiatives.
\nWouter holds a PhD in physics from Utrecht University.<\/p>\n

Bio Andrea Raminez Raminez<\/strong>
\nDr. Andrea Ram\u00edrez Ram\u00edrez is a Professor of Low Carbon Systems and Technologies and Head of the Chemical Engineering Department at Delft University of Technology. She holds a bachelor\u2019s in Chemical Engineering, a master\u2019s in Human Ecology, and a PhD in industrial energy efficiency. Her research aims to develop methodologies and tools to evaluate novel low-carbon technologies and assess their potential contribution to sustainable industrial systems. Prof. Ram\u00edrez has (co)authored over 130 publications, is a fellow of the Netherlands Academy of Engineering and boegbeld NWA energy transition.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>
