Abstract<\/strong>
\n<\/strong><\/span>What is the current state of SE in the Netherlands, and where are we heading? In the High-Tech Systems domain, Systems Engineering has been formally recognized as one of the Key Enabling Technologies in order to keep the Netherlands competitive. Holland High Tech has requested its Innovation Council Systems Engineering to define a new roadmap for SE. As Innovation Council we are working hard on this and we would like your input!<\/p>\n

One of our main ambitions is ensure the roadmap transcends the high-tech domain and can serve as a reference for SE in the Netherlands as a whole. In order to support this goal, we will use this workshop to share our analysis of the current state of SE in the Netherlands, along with our perspective on where the field is heading.<\/p>\n

We warmly invite your feedback on our findings and vision. Together, we hope to explore the essential steps needed to reach our goals for systems engineering in the Netherlands.<\/p>\n

Bio Jacco Wesselius
\n<\/em><\/strong>Jacco Wesselius is Business Director Embedded Systems Innovation at TNO and member of the Program Council HTSM (for the Innovation Domain Systems Engineering).<\/em><\/p>\n

Jacco is specialized in developing and embedding methodologies to deal with the complexity of high-tech cyber-physical systems. As business director, Jacco steers TNO-ESI’s five core programs: system performance, system dependability, systems in context, system evolvability and systems architecting.<\/em><\/p>\n

Bio Steven Haveman
\n<\/strong>Steven Haveman is Associate Professor Data-Driven Innovation at the HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht. He is part of the research group Organisations in Digital Transition.<\/em><\/p>\n

Steven teaches Systems Engineering and his main research interest is how a diverse stakeholder group can together develop and improve complex (socio-)technological systems, supported by digital solutions such as models and simulations: data driven & agile systems engineering. He is also a member of the Innovation Council for the Innovation Domain Systems Engineering, which supports the Program Council member.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>
