Abstract
\n<\/strong>The transition from document-based to model-based is gaining momentum. However, in practice, we see that we still generate documents from the model(s) so that stakeholders can review the design.
\nWhat do we need to do to take the next step towards a fully model-based world? Is it possible to skip this document generation and have stakeholders review directly within the model? What do we need to properly implement model-based review?<\/p>\n

Bio Rob de Jong
\n<\/em><\/strong>Rob de Jong <\/span><\/em>studied<\/span> Technical Computer <\/span>Science<\/span> at <\/span>the<\/span> HTS Haarlem <\/span>and<\/span> started<\/span> his <\/span>career<\/span> as a software engineer at <\/span>Electrorail<\/span> Traffic Systems in 1993. In 1999 he <\/span>moved<\/span> to<\/span> CMG <\/span>where<\/span> he <\/span>grew<\/span> to<\/span> become<\/span> a software architect of mission <\/span>critical<\/span> systems. In 2011, Rob <\/span>started<\/span> as a system engineer at <\/span>Soltegro<\/span> and<\/span> then<\/span> progressed<\/span> to<\/span> system architect. At <\/span>Soltegro<\/span> he is <\/span>involved<\/span> in <\/span>the<\/span> design of <\/span>various<\/span> infrastructure<\/span> projects<\/span> where<\/span> Soltegro<\/span>, <\/span>using<\/span> SysML<\/span>, has <\/span>introduced<\/span> MBSE <\/span>into<\/span> the<\/span> infrastructure<\/span> market. In <\/span>addition<\/span> to<\/span> many<\/span> tunnel <\/span>projects<\/span>, Rob is <\/span>also<\/span> involved<\/span> in <\/span>the<\/span> design of <\/span>bridges<\/span> and<\/span> locks<\/span>. <\/span>Soltegro<\/span> uses<\/span> Digital <\/span>Twins<\/span> in <\/span>many<\/span> of these <\/span>projects<\/span><\/em>.<\/span><\/em>

Bio Colette van den Berg<\/em><\/strong>
\nColette van den Berg graduated in Food Technology in Leeuwarden. After several years of experience in industry, she transitioned to the infrastructure market in 2007. Her career began as a software engineer at Imtech, after which she moved to Vialis in 2015. There, she played a key role in establishing a software group focused on industrial automation.<\/em>
\nSince 2018, Colette has worked as a systems architect. Within the infrastructure sector, she has worked on various renovation projects, including tunnels and several lock projects. Colette is known for her drive and her constant search for simple and practical solutions. Her focus is on the proper functioning of systems, with maintainability and user-friendliness as core values.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>
