Spiral Approach for Systems Engineering Research (SASER)
Workshop

Abstract.

    • The Spiral Approach for Systems Engineering Research (SASER) workshop explores how researchers can successfully conduct (systems) engineering research in close collaboration with industry while balancing scientific rigor and practical impact. Designed for MSc, EngD and PhD researchers, as well as supervisors, the workshop introduces an iterative approach in which research progresses through successive spirals, each creating intermediate value and opportunities for feedback and validation. Through a Learn–Apply–Reflect format, participants will explore SASER principles, apply them to an Industry-as-Laboratory case, and exchange experiences and good practices for keeping industry partners engaged while maintaining high-quality research
