Netwerkbijeenkomst 20 april - System Architecture Projects

Deze avond komt Dr. Wilhelm Claussen speciaal vanuit Aken om ons in gesprek te gaan over “System Architecture Projects: Caught between Structure and Creativity”.

Hieronder volgt een beschrijving van de presentatie en een korte introductie van Dr. Wilhelm Claussen zelf (in het Engels.)

With respect to project leadership two opposing questions need to be explored there:
- When does the demand for structure and process fidelity morph into well-organized organizational cowardice?
And
- When is the declaration of individual empowerment just another word for loss of control in the project?

Dr. Wilhelm Claussen would like to discuss our recent experiences with project leadership in technical architecture projects. How much pressure do you feel currently to change your methods more than incrementally? Because though we are in an interesting volatile environment the only thing that counts is: Finding ways to get our projects-goals to the finish line regardless -- faster and without losing control or compromising quality!

Wilhelm Claussen works as Project Leader in the field of technical product development projects for technical components for many years. Most of the time around semiconductor manufacturing, automotive and special machine construction.

He holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Berlin and Master of Administration and Business from VWA Dresden. Furthermore, is proud father of 3 grown up kids and resides in the city of Aachen, Germany.

During his work he was again and again observing organizations trying to master new projects without considering the nature of the subprojects carefully before starting to rush towards the delivery -- and failing. How we can make this better from the beginning and
why the beginning is the key he will outline and discuss with us today …

Het programma voor deze avond ziet er als volgt uit:

22:00 - Einde bijeenkomst
